PEOPLE DON'T RISE TO THE OCCASION.

THEY FALL TO THEIR TRAINING.

MENTAL TOUGHNESS is not a singular trait. It is a collection of performance and resilience skills that help you reach and maintain optimal performance, face and cope with adversity, adapt to change, recover and learn from a setback, and grow from the experience.

Just like physical toughness is the result of proper physical training, MENTAL TOUGHNESS is the result of intentionally training the brain.

THE PROBLEM is the majority of people are unfamiliar with how to become MENTALLY TOUGHER.

WHO GAINS AN ADVANTAGE FROM INCREASING THEIR MENTAL TOUGHNESS?

MILITARY/FIRST RESPONDERS

High performance requirements in highly intense and pressurized situations are combined with the need to be able to cope with the unique experiences that become part of everyday life.

Our heroes benefit from the implementation of both performance and resilience skills. The resilience skills promote the use of personal assets to protect our heroes from the potentially negative side effects of the stressors unique to this population.

HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented new challenges and placed more demand on our healthcare professionals.

Whether it is healthcare leaders and managers, or their employees, the effects of the prolonged “crisis mode” are becoming more obvious and unfortunately, they may be here to stay much longer than originally anticipated.

Healthcare networks that continue to have a reactive approach, expecting the deleterious effects of burnout, toxic leadership, and staffing shortages to fix themselves will fall behind the networks who are taking a more proactive approach for their people and those they serve.

Resilience can be taught, learned, and practiced together to build cohesive, high performing, and resilient teams.

ATHLETES

Athletes are great at training their bodies physically for competition. However, many overlook the impacts of training their brain in a similar way, even though it is equally as important.

Take Olympians for example: At that elite level, everyone has very similar physical capabilities. So what separates a gold medalist from a bronze medalist? The competitor that can control the six inches between their ears!

Regardless of the level of athlete, everyone can improve the mental side of their game using sport psychology.

CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONS

Create a high performance and resilient culture by equipping executives with leadership skills such as how to provide effective feedback or how to properly motivate their team members resulting in an increase in trust, respect, rapport, motivation, and morale within your organization.

The same concepts used in sporting arenas across the country and on battlefields all over the world can be applied to your organization.

Sport Psychology, Resilience, &
LEADERSHIP SERVICES

Group presentations can be conducted in any size. We have experience with groups as small as 6 and as large as 400. These trainings can be conducted in-person or virtually, however in-person is always preferred.

If you are seeking 1-on-1 services, we will create a collaborative environment for both the expert and the client. These trainings can be done virtually or in-person.

A workshop specifically targeted to your audience based off a comprehensive needs assessment.

A dynamic presentation that is conversation based allowing for optimal interaction. We prefer to stay away from PowerPoint and opt for a back and forth between our expert and the audience.

We are invested in your success and all we ask is the same in return. We will always be available for follow-up support.

At MENTALLY TOUGHER, our processes speak for themselves. First, we refuse to do cookie cutter training. We conduct a comprehensive needs assessment with all clients and tailor any training specifically to their needs and goals. We believe in interactive trainings that are conversational and led more by the participants than the experts. Give us a whiteboard and a marker and let us go! We can guarantee you one thing, we learn just as much from you as you learn from us!

Head over to the ‘CONTACT’ page and use the calendar link to schedule a call!

No worries! We have the most experience working with those groups of clients but we are always looking to help clients from other unique environments reach their full potential. ANYONE can benefit from becoming MENTALLY TOUGHER!

Check out the ‘CLIENTS’ tab at the top of the screen to see some examples of clients we have worked with in the past.

It is our opinion, whether group/workshop or individual training, that the most effective way to train these skills is in-person. There is always more participation and better retention of the skills when conducted face-to-face. However, we understand the changing times, and have conducted virtual trainings with clients all across the country.
